2008 Lunations and Eclipses
New Moon: A time for initiating new beginnings, for infusing new potential and life into everything from your relationships to your creative projects, work and innermost dreams. It opens fresh new possibilities and is the perfect time to write down what you want to manifest in your life, to set goals and get clear about your intentions. Writing down your intentions gets them out of your brain onto the paper, giving them their first bit of form. So, take pen in hand and write them down, 12 to 24 hours after the New Moon for best results.
Full Moon: The light of the Full Moon illuminates and brings things to a culmination or conclusion, often with an emphasis on what we initiated at the New Moon. Relationships are frequently high-lighted, as are the matters in the areas of your chart being activated by the Full Moon. It is an excellent time to reflect on your life, perhaps do a ritual or meditation, giving thanks for All That Is, and asking for clarity and insights on what you most need to know about a question you have, or about your life direction.
Eclipses: These are powerful New and Full Moons which emphasize the matters represented by the sign they’re in and any planets or points in your chart they activate. These matters then demand more attention, thought, energy and time – at least until the next Eclipse.
