Interest in Things
For some reason I’ve lost interest in food. This seems to have begun back when my back became a major pain issue, which can be attributed to drugs. But, since I no longer take the drugs, the loss of interest must be attributed to something else.
They inserted four segments of cadaver bone between what is left of the leading edges of my vertebrae (L1-L2-L3-L4 and L5.) Maybe the bone donor died of anorexia or at sometime in their life suffered from the terrible disease. Now that the bone is being fully integrated into my spine, well…who knows about these things?
I never dream about food any more. I used to, now and then. Or, at least used to dream of the great glass of scotch and where I used to drink it, the tavern, bistro, winery, cellar, bar, restaurant, home, country, town, city, place, etc., and the sort of vague meal, usually great company that went with it. But that kind of dreaming hasn’t happened in a long time. Hmmm. Cadaver bones?? Anyway, it’s a possibility . . . maybe.

Hmmmm, not good, as you well know I’m sure. I must say you do look good with your slender appearance. However if you lose anymore weight you will not only look sickly you will become sick. I know you know more about the subject then I do, although you may not be practicing your knowledge.

Big smile here, Well you certainly have been exposed to more varieties of food then most people, and most of it not readily available in most locations. From what you have mentioned you are quite the cook too.
As far as blending into the life of your bone donor, well I’m not too sure about that. But, who knows. I think that with your life style change of being home way more than you’re use to, it might be depressing you. I know you love doing what you do and sharing this knowledge with the world. It’s a door you would love to see opened to humanity. A knew way of life. I believe if you are not sharing your ability with others by traveling around and giving speeches and doing presentations that you feel you aren’t giving your all. You have given more than most in your lifetime and I am sure you will never stop, it just isn’t you to stop. I’m sure you are taking advantage of this down time to write and share your knowledge with others. Your fictional writings are also something I believe would interest many. Another side of J.W.McMoneagle.
Well, probably said way more than you wanted to hear. Take care, and eat, but not too much ;-)

Hi, I just saw this post. After my first blood transfusion (I’ve had three in the last three years), I started getting into Italian food. I have never had an interest in it then suddenly I couldn’t learn (or eat) enough lol. I wondered if the two were related somehow.
I’ve had issues with anorexia (not nervosa, just no appetite due to nausea) and one thing I learned is you eat with your eyes first. Maybe visualizing your favorite food or having an aperitif before eating to stimulate your appetite would help.
I also discovered watching Foodnetwork can really get the juices flowing if you like cooking and watching new recipes, etc. Of course, I especially like Everyday Italian and Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meals since they do a variety and a lot of Italian food :).
I hope you get your appetite back soon. That you need. Maybe get a good nutritional drink like Ensure (icy cold and it’s not too bad) so you don’t lose too much weight if that’s an issue.
I hope you and your back are feeling better. After a major surgery and losing your buddy, I imagine you are sad also right now.
Sending good energy to ya’ll,
Talulah

Hello, I too just noticed the posting. A friend of mine taught me this angelic blessing … I release any energy from this lifetime or any other lifetime that is no longer useful or serves the purpose of the divine will. Maybe you could adjust the phrase to fit your situation. We hold cellular memories in our DNA.
And maybe it is your bodies way of coping with the “foreign” material. Just something to think about.
From,
Lisa
