A note from Joe
What a great surprise it is, to be able to sit at my keyboard on July 4, 2006, only three weeks after surgery, feeling as well as I do. Aside from the gifted hands of my surgeons, I’m sure the reason I feel so well is because of the good intentions and expectations of so many of you, my friends, neighbors, and associates. I cannot think of another time when I’ve had so many praying for me in such a focused way. Of course it’s way too early to know whether or not anything worked with regards to surgery, but I feel better than I’ve felt in a long time. For now, that’s what matters.
I’ve had all the staples removed, which means the open wounds have healed, as have the drain holes, without infection. The pain fades with each passing day. There is not enough to interfere with Remote Viewing, although my RV requirements are now determined solely by the level of criticality. I leave that in the hands of my Chief Healer and tasking agent, my wife, Scooter—blessed are her hands.
A bit of good news for those who may not know—Hampton Roads Publishing has released the paperback edition of my previous hard cover book, STARGATE CHRONICLES. It is now out at your favorite bookstores under the new title, MEMOIRS OF A PSYCHIC SPY—The Remarkable Life of U.S. Government Remote Viewer 001. Other than the new title, the only other change from the previous edition is a new preface I wrote for it.
So, all of you that couldn’t afford the hard cover book, can pick up a copy of the trade paperback book for only $15.95 at your local bookstore. If that’s still too steep, remember you can check most of my books out from the local library. If they don’t have them, push them to get a copy and they will order them for you. That way everyone can get a chance to read them.
I really wish there were some way of thanking you for the many kind thoughts and prayers you all sent our way while we were going through this surgery process. It’s hard to explain, but I at least could feel the expression of kindness emanating from the collective whole. Again, thank you all.
Just to let you know something about the future…
I’ll soon be fitted with a ultra-light brace for my left ankle, which I will wear while walking. I will also have to continue to use a cane. Both are to insure that I am able to maintain my balance. I won’t know for approximately three to six months just how much damage has been corrected by the surgery. We do know that full recovery will take more than a year. So far, every indication has been a positive indication that the surgery has been for the better. I’m looking forward to lots of rehab.
Warm regards,
Joe

It sounds like a long haul, but as usual you’re facing it with guts and stoicism. I’m so glad that so far everything has gone well. Please continue to keep us updated on how things are going with both of you.
And when you have time, it’d be interesting to hear what’s on your mind and in your life lately outside of that, too. ;-)

Good to hear things are going well Joe. Look forward to sharing with you thru the blog.

Mr. McMoneagle,
I’m really glad to hear you are doing so well. I hope the bad weather wasn’t in your area.
I have Mind Trek (great book!), looking forward to reading the rest of your books and your blog.
It’s really nice of you to take the time to write out your thoughts and life with us considering what you’ve been through and your busy schedule.
Sounds like you’re in good hands with the critters and your wife lol.
Better and Better,

Hey Joe-
That sounds like a pretty intensive surgery, to say the least! Good to hear you are recovering so quickly. Take care and try to take it slow, hopefully you will be out of the ankle brace soon too!

Hey Joe!
It’s good to hear from you! I really hope this surgery lasts you the rest of your life, now that you’ve been under the knife two years in a row. Did the staple holes itch as they healed? Mine drove me nuts and the scars over my spine still looks like a zipper, lol.
I sincerely hope your daily battles against the pain are now a lot easier to win - or better yet, that you no longer have to fight them at all. I’m sure the rehab will be a smooth and steady climb back to freedom.
I think it’s these personal battles - that daily early-morning mustering of your energy and resolve, the imposition of your will upon a damaged body, and the constant temporary conquering over pain and limitation, the satisfaction of drifiting off to sleep at night knowing that once again you didn’t give in - these most private, most intimate victories (sometimes the result of the most pitched battles that no one else can see nor understand from the outside) are the sweetest. Others may see the struggle but no one will ever know the full intensity of your efforts but you.
You’ve fought the pain so hard for so long…I’m sure this rehab will be a piece of cake, especially with the momentum of so much positive thought from so many concerned people behind you. :-) You’re still in our prayers.
I love the blog! It was a great idea. I look forward to stopping in to read your thoughts as often as you care to post them. Heal quickly.
Warmest Regards,
Don

Hey, you’re back in cyberspace! We missed you!
You did indeed have a lot of people pulling for you. The night before the first surgery I woke up hourly wondering if it was time yet. Even my SC was monitoring your progress!
One curiosity: How do you sleep with incisions in the front and back? Do you sleep? If not, how do you spend the hours? Let us know if you want to play telepathic poker or something. (How do you play cards with a room full of telepaths?)
Please post here as often as is comfortable.

Hi Joe!
Warmest greetings from Lincoln, England! Pleased to hear that all appears to be well as can be with you. Although, of course, there is no hurry,
Simply wondering - if at a later date you are willing and able, would you be interested in remote viewing a location that has only just been discovered by my intensive research and quite possibly may contain the most searched after spiritual ‘treasure’ in history, the lost/forgotten treasure of Rennes-le-Chateau, found to be within the precincts of the Gothic Cathedral of Lincoln, England ? I felt what a wonderfully potential return to your talent! Please contact if this appeals to you: you will understand I could only approach the best for this task! Take care,
Sincere best wishes to you all,
Callum

Joe:
Glad your up and about.
Saw you on the National Geographic Special about Telepathy. The entire show was interesting, although I was a bit put off by their conclusions. I thought you hit the outbounder target SPOT ON.
Get well and hopefully get the energy up to right us all another book! Hahahaha.
Best regards
Robert

Hi Joe,
it’s wonderful to hear you’re well on the mend. I’m imagining that the healing process will continue smoothly.
Thanks for your books. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
If you ever write a book on your psi experiences (as oposed to RV experiences) I’ll be first in line to buy it. :)
Take care. You’re very precious to a lot of us even though we have never met.
cheers
Liz

Well, the man himself appears!!!! Awfully glad (and impressed) that you’re up to doing a spot of blogging. You just couldn’t let the shuttle steal the whole show. Which Hemi-Sync frequencies work best for you while healing? (Kidding, if I understand them correctly, you have long-since evolved beyond the point of using them anymore.)
Mr. McMoneagle, in all seriousness, it would be helpful to know from you how this blog can be used by the public (as well as how you think it might evolve in a way that is interesting to you, as well.). I certainly have a good list of technical questions about RV and I am thrilled that I live in an age where I can communicate directly with the master, but I do not want to open any boxes owned by pandora, nor do I want to offend by starting threads that are of subject matter that you would find either inappropriate or offensive. So far, everything posted has been pretty benign. (Fine for the current situation.) I am ready to get into the meatier discussions as soon as you’re up for it.
Honestly, even sharing as much about your health, a very personal matter, shows a comfort level with such things that I do not expect from those who live somewhat public lives. I absolutely appreciate that you do it, but I don’t expect it.
I’ll be back shortly. Great to see you’re doing so well. Truly.

Keep on healing!

Hello,
I wrote you a letter and I hope it has reached you by today. Of course I feel guilty now to have bothered you during your time of healing. I am sending healing thoughts and secretly hoping you will answer the letter in the lavender envelope. Have a great day—light

Dear Joe and Scooter,
My prayers are with you for healing, recuperation, and peace. May you
heal from surgery completely pain-free.
Every time I reread “The Ultimate Time Machine”, I’m amazed at how many of Joe’s future events and trends toward future conditions seem to be unfolding, and finding missing persons and reuniting them with their families is a gift and a blessing.
Hopefully, everything will be back to “normal” for you both very soon.
With prayers and best wishes,
Vicki
